Cora Esparza wins IIE-GIRE fellowship to conduct research in Spain

Graduate student, Cora Esparza, will be packing her bags and moving to Spain for 5 months in Spring 2022. She was recently awarded an IIE-GIRE fellowship which will fund her independent research at the University of Barcelona in Spain. Cora will be combining her current research into vascularization and interstitial flow with hypoxia in the laboratory of Isaac Almendros. We are very excited for her to embark on this awesome experience and can't wait to hear all about it when she returns!
