We're Moving to FBRI-Roanoke!

The OEL is moving to the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at Virginia Tech Carilion starting July 1st. We will be moving into the brand new, state-of-the-art building at 4 Riverside which you can see here. We are very excited to move into our brand new space in the Neuroscience wing of the first floor. We will be housed in this dynamic building with faculty in metabolism, cardiovascular sciences, biomaterials and biointerfaces, and infectious disease. On the first floor is the new veterinary clinical oncology suite. Dr. Munson will be overseeing the use of the new Bruker 9.4T MRI/PET instrument that will be installed before the building is opened. We are excited that we will have the opportunity to expand our research clinically and translationally as we embark on the next phase of our research program. Dr. Munson will remain a part of the Biomedical Engineering and Mechanics Department supervising Biomedical Engineering graduate students while integrating into the mentorship programs at FBRI including the mentorship of medical students and further mentoring of the Translational Biology, Medicine, and Health Program.
